A poem

The strength that it takes for you to walk away

Did you notice the patterns of habits that stayed?

With a scientific mind, you always know the time

How can you not see that the lies tell you why?

The pain is the medicine that gets you to fight

What if there’s no more tragedy in your life?

I think you need to say you’re not in that place

Under what condition, would you love yourself anyway?

My mind wrote a poem that my soul needs to know

Will you tattoo the words if I go really slow?

You need to love who you are because you’ve grown

Why does it hurt when it was so long ago?

Say it now, I love myself when you’re not around

Fix your frown, I think I’ve been found
