Romantic lies
I once had a day that changed my whole life
When you fast forward, it’s hard to describe
I think it’s too late for you to see the sun rise
But you still beg God for the pain to subside
You blame me for talking to the winds mind
I thought you said I had someone to find
The moving clock hands made you realize
Time can be taken when you close your eyes
Fears always theorize your romantic lies
Even when you stomp your feet to survive
The wounds were too deep for scars to hide
If you still feel the pain, you’re still alive
Rhyming the words means you are unheard
I have a miserable life I don’t want to disturb
