The impossible (late)

My very first dream wondered how we breathe

The lies could stand apart from my belief

Textbooks didn’t teach how you put me to sleep

Confessions only taught me to lie through my teeth

But Jesus was still who I wanted to be

It took time to believe in miracles you can’t see

That’s when I found good things happen to me

Now you’re the only person I really need

So, I say your word does the impossible

You cleaned my life, breaking all the rules

I fell to my knees when I finally heard

I’m right here and I know your worth

Today I stopped asking for evidence
